So, yeah, the blog didn't go as planned.  But I still want to post some photos for posterity and so my whole life isn't contained is some social networking site.  Here are a couple photos from me to all six of you, just for fun.

Carys is definitely loving the new bookcase!  I've had to just start with a few books because she takes them each off of the shelf one by one and brings them around the corner for me to read to her!  This is from a video clip--she walks around the corner after choosing the book to come and sit on my lap.

So, yesterday I completely forgot about a photo.  Hmm.  Fake it and post an old pic?  No, totally defeats the purpose.  Add a day to the end of the year?  Punishment!  I don't know.  I think I'll just say, "oops" and take a new pic today.  I can't be perfect, right?  Post 19 coming right up!

This one is for not giving up.  In other words, I didn't get a good shot today until now, but at least I got something.  And the previous three posts were posted today, but the photos were taken on the days I was supposed to have taken them.  Whew!  14 days and this is already getting hard!

A morning play at the park with Megan and Steven was perfect before the rainy afternoon!  Miracle of miracles--both my babes asleep before 8:15!  Thanks, guys!

"I'm pretty sure you're using one of my pictures..." he said.  Well, I didn't bust out my camera today, but it was my idea to actually get a video of Carys learning to walk before she has it completely mastered.  Love you princess!

We meet Matt at the gym every Friday for open toddler play.  Jack loves it and Carys can really get into it now, too, since she loves to climb!  Of course, Jack was too busy playing to have his picture taken!

 Jack enjoyed a full 5 minute conversation with Daddy on the phone today!  He mostly wanted Daddy to ask him, "Jack, how do you spell 'Jack?'"  Sorry, the photos haven't been super thrilling yet. Hoping to start dragging my camera out of the house with me soon!

So, I wanted to get a picture of Jack enjoying the rain since I posted Carys yesterday. He actually laughed at the loud thunder!  He hates to be photographed right now.  It rained in sheets and we even had a "tornado warning" for all of a couple of hours today.  Don't think we've had that as long as I can remember. I know, thirty years is forever to some, and not to others, but hey, "as long as I can remember" seems like a long time to me!

On a gray day like this the lighting can be awesome for photos, but super tricky to get between the source [window] and the subject [child wanting very much to touch the lens].  I'm not crazy about this being all I came up with for today, but it's just day, two.  At least I'm posting!  The BW conversion is a new one and I think I like it!
